There is something simple but attractive about a still life, not only that it captures a single moment in time, but also how that object influences it’s area, it’s background and it’s atmosphere. I love to paint floral still life’s to bring a singular moment of joy and happiness in a more modernist style with my usual love of bold colours and contrasts!
